Meditation is mental training. The purpose of mental training is to stay relaxed and alert at the same time. Three qualities emerge when the mind is in these states: calmness, clarity and happiness. In a role where you continually work with people and teams or are serving customers, you are required to give people your full attention. Attention is the secret to concentration and will be helpful for you to self-regulate, resist distractions and ultimately perform at your best professional self.
