A customer, a colleague, a 50-year-old, a 23 year old, a person who grew up in the country, a person who grew up in the city, someone who is street wise, someone who is academic……. when you strip it all away, every human you come across desire the same things.

Do you see me?
Do you hear me?
Does what I say matter to you?

The reason I love teaching service in businesses is because its simple and it makes the world a better place.

In every interaction you and your teams participate in, do you make people feel seen, heard and important?

John Dewey an American Philosopher worked this out in the 1920’s. He said; The greatest urge of any human, is the desire to feel important.

Do that. Make people feel important and you are delivering exceptional service. Not hard. In fact so simple that we sometimes forget.
