Hello, my name is Jaquie Scammell. Yes that’s JaQuie spelt without a ‘c’ and with an ‘e’.

The spelling of my name is a mystery, even to me.
I am a speaker, author and mentor (sometimes described as a Corporate Sharman) who helps individual leaders create a deeper connection to themselves through various body mind and heart practices.
My purpose in all I do with people is to elevate the ordinary moments, so that together we can serve a more divine experience.
I believe that Love always wins, yet sometimes you forget.
The modern-day world distractions, attention pollution, a feeling of being pulled in many directions with work, family and day to day life, leaves very little time for oneself. If unattended this eventually leads to you feeling disconnected from your true self, moving away from your center, feeling out of alignment or perhaps even a sense that something is missing in your life. And so rather than solving problems that are outside of you, the answer is simply to practice returning home to what is inside of you.
You can access a better life by simply remembering to love and journey home to oneself.
I help individual leaders develop mindsets and habits that when practiced over time, keep you present, grounded and deeply connected to yourself, which eventually leads to sustained wellbeing and stunning relationships.
The practices that I offer of Mind, Body and Nature from a metaphysical and scientific perspective, keep you mentally clear, widen your perspectives, manage your emotions, tuning into the realm of your whole being. The tools of meditation, Yoga, Pranayama and Retreats, are designed to help you serve yourself in a way that is practical and accessible no matter what your lifestyle or life situation may be.
There is something magical created in these practices of presence, that have a power which unites people and encourages you to get out of your head and drop into your heart.
I should know; I woke up one day and got honest with myself.
I wanted to grow, I wanted to love more, I wanted to be healed. It was scary. I stopped thinking so much and started to feel more.
You see, I used to leave the present moment often, always looking back and looking forward and not being able to connect to the now. I spent most of my twenties and half of my thirties chasing problems that were not there, problems that were outside of me, problems I could not control and problems from the past or made-up problems in the future that did not even exist.
The result? stress, anxiety, lack of focus: the harder I tried the harder it got, the more I thought about it the worse it became.
I see similar patterns in the people who I meet on my retreats and workshops. No one needs fixing, but for some reason they all seem busy focusing on the things outside of them, searching outside of them to gain happiness, rather than sitting still, getting quiet and paying attention to what is inside of them.
Eventually I worked it out. It took me at age 35; when I was single, broke and unemployed to realise a deep vow that I was to make to myself, one that was taking on the task of loving myself fully.
You see, I had denied the parts of me that felt true.
A part of me was holding on to stale beliefs that no longer served me, held me back.
A part of me wanted to hide in my anger, my fear, my victimhood, my righteousness, and wanted to defend why life had not been easy.
A 40-day yoga challenge, was the trigger that caused the beginning of a ripple effect of letting go, accepting and returning to myself, until eventually I slowly remembered the parts of myself that I once liked, soon to love again.
Today I share the tools to develop practices that are likened to cleaning techniques for the mind, body, and spirit which allows you to live a more conscious, liberating life.
As a teacher, speaker, and author of easy, human, and relatable wellbeing practices, I have spent time with thousands of individuals revealing unique teachings that work in the cracks of the busyness of life.
I’ve taken these practices to respected companies in the mining and resources, banking, retail, sports and stadiums, airports and medical industries to name a few and helped a variety of professionals with their wellbeing and quality of their relationships in their workplaces and home life.
In addition to a deep commitment to wellbeing, I am the founder of ServiceQ, a business that is delivering service transformation programs in helping workplaces take care of their people so they take care of the customers.
I have published two books; Service Mindset and Service Habits and contribute regularly in the media, offering up opinion pieces on service, wellbeing and keys to healthy relationships.
Beyond my work, my relationship with Costa, my life partner, a self-made entrepreneur, encourages me to live a full life each day. Our home has a reputation for large gatherings complimented with an abundance of simple, wholesome Mediterranean food, music, and human connections. My relaxed coastal town upbringing in Port Macquarie has embedded a free spirit within me that has a magnetic pull to the ocean. This inspires my talks, teachings and retreat experiences with incredible food, nature, like minded company, the harmonic sound of temple bells, wrapped up with an overall sense of deep care that allows you to reach into your heart and remember how to access your best self, time and time again.
You will always feel seen, heard and understood in my presence.
Let’s sit around a table, share a meal (or a coffee) and connect. If you are realizing more and more how important mindfulness and self-care is to your overall wellbeing in life, then I can help you with simple to understand, no woo woo practices that work.
