Spring is a fabulous time to Retreat and, in particular, regenerate!
As we emerge from a seemingly long winter, we can see renewal and growth around us. In Spring flowers are budding, the leaves on trees are developing and we are reminded that it is a time of rejuvenation and renewal.

Let go of what is weighing you down and start the season revitalised! Easier said than done and sometimes we need support, new tools, and a little hint of inspiration to let us fully surrender to what no longer serves us.
Old attachments, old stories and old ways of being can weigh you down and surrendering the small moments in life can be just as difficult as the big moments.
Letting go of the ideal dinner you had planned that went pear shaped, letting go of a conversation with a colleague that left you feeling embarrassed, letting go of an idea or belief you had of someone or something, or letting go of friendship that is no longer serving you… these are all moments in life that can create extra pain for ourselves when we hold on tight to it and the only way to relieve the pain is to loosen the grip.
The past couple of years has presented more fear, worries and doubt than most of us could imagine. In many ways moving forward and getting on with the changes that life now presents us, requires us to let go to make space for new. Here is a recent blog I wrote about the very topic which received a large response from my readers: https://serviceq.co/a-year-of-surrender/
From my personal experience when you feel you have fully surrendered something there is always more to let go of… and it’s the most important personal and spiritual practice I have ever learned.
Letting go has been a game changing tool for me and I attribute much of my health, energy, success and happiness to this.
This urban retreat is designed to help you do answer two questions:
- Where in your life are you gripping tightly right now?
- What are some small steps and tools that can assist you in loosening that grip… maybe even let it go completely?
