Spring is a fabulous time to Retreat and, in particular, regenerate!

As we emerge from a seemingly long winter, we can see renewal and growth around us. In Spring flowers are budding, the leaves on trees are developing and we are reminded that it is a time of rejuvenation and renewal.

Summary of offerings

Let go of what is weighing you down and start the season revitalised! Easier said than done and sometimes we need support, new tools, and a little hint of inspiration to let us fully surrender to what no longer serves us.

Old attachments, old stories and old ways of being can weigh you down and surrendering the small moments in life can be just as difficult as the big moments.

Letting go of the ideal dinner you had planned that went pear shaped, letting go of a conversation with a colleague that left you feeling embarrassed, letting go of an idea or belief you had of someone or something, or letting go of friendship that is no longer serving you… these are all moments in life that can create extra pain for ourselves when we hold on tight to it and the only way to relieve the pain is to loosen the grip.

The past couple of years has presented more fear, worries and doubt than most of us could imagine. In many ways moving forward and getting on with the changes that life now presents us, requires us to let go to make space for new. Here is a recent blog I wrote about the very topic which received a large response from my readers: https://serviceq.co/a-year-of-surrender/

From my personal experience when you feel you have fully surrendered something there is always more to let go of… and it’s the most important personal and spiritual practice I have ever learned.

Letting go has been a game changing tool for me and I attribute much of my health, energy, success and happiness to this.

This urban retreat is designed to help you do answer two questions:

  1. Where in your life are you gripping tightly right now?
  2. What are some small steps and tools that can assist you in loosening that grip… maybe even let it go completely?

What will you gain?

  • Ways of quickly identifying personal preferences, beliefs, old attachments, and labeling
  • Deeper self-awareness of how you react to internal triggers (your thoughts and emotions) and external triggers from others and circumstances
  • A life skill for testing assumptions and the practice of not taking things personally
  • Mindset techniques to let go of the things that you cling to and hold you back
  • Lightness and space
  • Reconnect to the source of strength and security within you
  • New connections with likeminded people

RETREAT yourself. Why go on a retreat?

First time on an Urban retreat?

We have purposefully chosen a Friday to help you make a conscious choice to put you first and invest in your own personal development (even if it means taking a day off work). What an act of self-care to oneself to actively carve out time and dedicate a day to yourself. If you already have the Friday to yourself? Then bonus! Come and spend it with Jaquie.

Unlike taking a day off work for a holiday, the difference is the intent behind it — one of personal growth.

How will we retreat?

  • Incredible food, good coffee, good vibes.
  • In circles for teachings, techniques and tools
  • Space for conversations, and connection.
  • Breathwork, meditation and stillness

What is included in the one-day retreat?

  • A full day up close and in an intimate setting with Jaquie Scammell
  • Lunch and afternoon tea
  • Unlimited tea, coffee, and water
  • Happy Hour drinks at the end
  • Personal gift from Jaquie

A workbook to support the practices learned and an easy reference guide for post retreat.

*If you commit to this one-day retreat and find yourself stuck at home unable to join us, we will be LIVE streaming for this purpose. If you are interstate and interested in the LIVE Stream, please email us: [email protected]

What people say about our retreats:

“A safe, secure space to be present and discover yourself and meet a diverse set of people with a shared purpose. Being grateful to self and exploring and expanding self.”

Sue

“Incredibly wisdom passed on by Jaquie, Steve & Taryn. So many tools for the future. Would highly recommend.”

Tim

“Not usually a fan of retreats, however, I am a convert. This weekend was the most empowering and enlightening experience with three professional facilitators who created a safe environment for everyone to share, for which we are all richer with a greater understanding of others and ourselves.”

Darryl

“I would sincerely recommend this experience to anyone. The Expand and Explore Retreat felt safe at all times, engaging, worthwhile and provided useful tools to use at home and work. If you want to learn to love ‘me’ just do it!”

Linda

“Jaq’s I am grateful for the previous experience your provided. Thank you for creating a loving and safe environment to enable expansion and beautiful connections. Thank you for the everlasting magic.”

Stav

“Jaquie, Steve & Taryn. Well where do I start? I wasn’t sure what to expect but I have left you with more wisdom and moments that I will be able to put in place to make me a better person for those that I love and come into contact. I can’t explain in words what this has meant for me.

The compassion, internal healing and the connections that I have received over the weekend is priceless.”
